Winter Planters are a great way to decorate for the holidays!

If your pot still has plants in it, cut them back to about the soil level.  Place the tallest spruce tip in the middle/back of your pot and push into the soil.  Space the other spruce tips out in order to fill the pot.  Add mixed greens into the soil to fill in bare spots and add interest.  Add birch pole, branches, ruskus and pinecones for extra interest.  And water it in!  Spraying the spruce tips regularly with water will help them to last longer.  And watering the soil well will make your planter heavier and keep it upright.

And then make it your own with more fresh greens, eucalyptus, berries, ornaments, lights, etc.!
